Cross Border Council meet Emergency Services to Discuss Brexit.
Louth County Council and Newry Mourne & Down District Council held their most recent meeting of the Joint Committee on Wednesday 20th June at the Monaghan Row Offices in Newry.
The Joint Committee which was formed out of a Memorandum of Understanding in 2011 between the two councils, which meets on a regular basis to monitor and discuss a range of development projects .
The Committee are currently considering the potential impact of Brexit on existing cross border arrangements between the Fire and Rescue Services.
A joint Presentation was provided at the Meeting by NI Fire Service Group Commander Randy McComb and Louth Senior Assistant Chief Fire Officer, Joe Lumsden.
